The Rock Poster Soci­ety will be pre­sent­ing a very spe­cial ver­sion of our Rock Art By the Bay artists’ show at the Har­mony Fes­ti­val at the Sonoma County Fair­grounds in Santa Rosa, CA on June 10th, 11th, & 12th, 2011.

The Har­mony Fes­ti­val has over the years become a pre­mier music, arts, and cul­tural fes­ti­val in North­ern Cal­i­for­nia. This year’s ver­sion fea­tures a stel­lar lineup of bands includ­ing The Flam­ing Lips, Primus, and Michael Franti & Spear­head, among dozens of oth­ers. The fes­ti­val also fea­tures an array of speak­ers, unique arts, cul­tural events and exhibits, and of course ven­dors and food galore.

We’re stoked to have made a spe­cial arrange­ment to present our poster artists event as part of a very spe­cial “Arts Pavil­ion” at the Har­mony Fes­ti­val. We’ll be shar­ing Har­mony Hall with Tribe 13, a nation­ally known col­lec­tive of vision­ary artists. Any­one who’s a fan of rock posters and art will be treated with a spe­cial treat for the senses.

Yes, you do need to get tick­ets to attend the Har­mony Fes­ti­val. Ticket prices will go up at the door the day of event. Tick­ets can be pur­chased now at Whole Foods, a com­plete list of par­tic­i­pat­ing stores is avail­able here.

Check out the Fri­day Night “Har­mony After Dark” trib­ute to Owsley show. We’ll have a spe­cial one-time exhibit of the art of Jerry Gar­cia shar­ing our hall with the poster artists, pro­vid­ing an inspi­ra­tional vibe for our artists and patrons (not to men­tion the musicians)!
