Chico Rocks Poster by Frank Alan Bella & Frank Wiedemann

Chico’s Got Soul Presents: Chico Rocks! featuring posters and flyers from the Chico Music Scene, San Francisco and beyond in the last 20 years. Well known Chico rock poster artists Frank Alan Bella (Bill Graham Presents, Robby Krieger of The Doors, TRPS) and Frank Wiedemann (The Fillmore, The Warfield) will have many of their great posters on display, and for sale. A limited poster designed by both of them will be available with all proceeds going to the Pageant Theatre.

This historic Chico theater is currently going through rough times trying to keep its doors open. A major hurdle is the impending retirement of 35 mm film, which requires purchase of a digital projector that can run about $50,000. Also appearing is Chico poster artist and promoter, Jonas Beeler. DJ Spenny/Spencer Djspenny Rouse will be spinning from 6-8pm and a live band tribute to the Velvet Underground from 8-10pm. Hors d’Oeuvres will be served. Beer and wine will also be available. Please come out and support your local artists and musicians. Asking a $5 donation for the DJ/band/venue for helping to put on this amazing event. Chico Rocks!

  1. This “Chico Rocks!” poster is a trademark infringement on my live music production company’s trademark “Chico Rocks!” . Legal permission to use my music and film production company’s trademarks and business name were not obtained to use in the production of this artwork or to be used on this URL or the merchandise being produced with and sold unlawfully with my trademark on the merchandise. This trademark infringement is maliciously directing my web traffic away from my “Chico Rocks!” music and film production sites and I would like your director and who is in charge of this website to contact me immediately about this trademark infringement of my music production company’s name on your website. Thank you!
