Continuing the 50th-anniversary tributes to the Summer of Love, this year’s Marin County Fair will feature music by two of the bands that played at radio station KFRC’s Magic Mountain Music Festival on Mt. Tam in 1967 (the 5th Dimension and the Sons of Champlin), a live liquid light show by Jerry Abrams and Glenn McCay, a tribute to the Renaissance Pleasure Faire (which debuted at China Camp in 1967), and photographs, videos, and posters from concerts at such storied Marin music venues as the Santa Venetia Armory and Pepperland.
