We are saddened beyond words to learn of the passing of Wes Wilson this weekend. Our love and condolences go out to the Wilson family. There is a hole in the rock-poster community that will never be filled. Rest in peace, Wes.

An unparalleled giant in the psychedelic music scene. For many, his imagery captures the spirit of the 60’s San Francisco scene. Although sorely missed, his legend lives on in his art and the memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He was a big influence on all of us. I had the privilege of living with he & his family in Lagunitas for a short time in the early 70s.
Sad day. Loss of a poster icon.
I am fortunate to have several posters of this era that I acquired in 1970. I got them framed and matted. They bring me lots of fond memories of those years. RIP Wes.
