On Sunday, January 17, 2021, Jay Blakesberg Hosted Photos with Stories: The Evolution of the San Francisco Rock Industry with special guest Bill Graham Presents producer Bob Barsotti.
In 1970, Bob Barsotti began his adventure in rock and roll working for the late great rock impresario Bill Graham. For the next three decades Bob’s work with the BGP team helped shape how concert-goers experienced live music. Closing of Winterland, Grateful Dead in Egypt, New Years Eve with the Grateful Dead, The Who, The Stones, Zeppelin, Bob was there.
Bob was also there to see the original art and printing of two legendary Grateful Dead posters from 1980, one for The Warfield Theatre in San Francisco commemorating September 25 – October 14, and Radio City Music Hall, New York City for the shows from October 22 – 31. Artist credits of these posters go to his late brother Peter Barsotti, and Dennis Larkins.

The Bill Graham Memorial Foundation, was formed in January of 2008 in memory of the legendary rock impresario, Bill Graham. The foundation is a public charity that is funded through individual and corporate contributions and grants.
