Luke Martin ART poster, 2022, detail.

In just a few short days, the doors will open for the Festival of Rock Posters for 2022. Here’s a quick recap of prices, hours, answers to FAQs, and all that sorta stuff.

Where:
Hall of Flowers, 1199 9th Ave, San Francisco

When:
Saturday October 15, 10am to 6pm

Show Map:

Admission:
Tickets at the door (cash only) are:
$40 – 10am-11am for non-members
$20 – 11am-3pm for non-members
$10 – 10am-3pm for members
Free – 3pm-6pm for all

How do I become a member to save on admission?
Alas, the time period to do that online has passed, and we can’t process memberships at the door. But if you pay a non-member admission fee at the door, we will give you a credit toward your membership at the TRPS table inside the Hall of Flowers. Just show your hand stamp to one of our friendly volunteers.

How do I get an artist ticket?
A limited quantity of numbered tickets for Emek, Marq Spusta, and Chuck Sperry will be available to attendees (members and non-members alike) at the door. After you pay your admission fee, you may select ONE ticket for ONE of these artists. This will get you a place in line for that artist.

Artist Relief Trust poster sales:
We will begin selling ART posters by Luke Martin and Tom Shaw at around 11am. We will also have recent ART posters by artists such as Brad Klausen and AJ Masthay available, as well as a few gems from our archives.

Parking:
Since our last show in 2019, parking in and around Golden Gate Park has gotten worse, with many of our favorite places to park for free all day converted to two-hour zones. We suggest these local lots:
* Music Concourse Underground Garage (beneath the de Young Museum and California Academy of Sciences). About a 10-minute walk to the Hall of Flowers.
* Kezar Lot (825 Stanyan Street). About a 20-minute walk to the Hall of Flowers.

Public Transit:
The 44 and 7 buses both stop at 9th and Lincoln.
The N train stops at 9th and Irving, a block away.

Weather:
The forecast is for partly cloudy skies, with lows in the mid-50s and highs in the mid-60s.

See you at the show!
