I was asked to create tonight‘s concert poster for almighty @mumfordandsons playing at @lanxessarena Cologne tonight! I can remember very well that in my folk era quite a few years ago, I listened to practically nothing but their first two albums.
The artwork is a loose interpretation of the band‘s „Rushmere Stamp“ morphing the two birds into a flower vase with a hidden heart symbol.

Get @reshare_app • @yourcinema New work for David Byrne! This one is for his three night run in Seattle, happening right now. The art direction was to do something that referenced different eras of David’s career, and the first thing that came to mind were some of his iconic outfits (one of the first images of him that I remember seeing, other than music videos on MTV, was the shot of him in Rolling Stone by Annie Leibovitz, so I made sure to include that). I also took a lot of inspiration from the American Utopia stage show from his 2018 tour. That’s what gave birth to the idea of the tv set and medical poster as a layout. For the process nerds out there, I’ve included the Inspiration Board that I sent the band, the initial sketch and some close ups of my original inks. Everything was drawn with a non photo blue pencil, inked with a brush and microns and then digitally colored using tools from @truegrittexturesupply . Thanks to @carneymichael and the rest of the team at @redstarmerch for bringing me on board for this one. My AP’s look great and will be up@for sale this Friday, November 14th at 1:30pm EST if anyone is interested. I have regular and foil editions available. Hope everyone has a blast at the shows. Be good!

Get @reshare_app • @amyjeanart BERLIN! YES IF I AM GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY I WILL DRAW A HELLMOUTH. I like drawing these guys so much and I see them as protectors not as evil. They look after you and your space. My favourite part about this one is the texture in the black, and the way I fit the small custom lettering into the rectangles on the sides. I was so pleased with that.
Thank you @kinggizzard for always letting me just draw what I want to draw, it’s actually wild and I feel so lucky. And huge thank you to @simoen who is always there to look at the early drafts of my work and discuss my ideas. You help me more than you realise! Feelin’ very grateful today.

The TRPS Festival of Rock Posters is the flagship annual event organized by The Rock Poster Society (TRPS), a nonprofit dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating rock concert poster art from the 1960s psychedelic era to contemporary silk-screen masterpieces. TRPS itself was founded in 1998 as an all-volunteer organization to support artists, collectors, and the broader community around this vibrant art form, with a special focus on the countercultural explosion of San Francisco’s rock scene.
We’ll be back at the Hall of Flowers in Golden Gate Park on Saturday, October 18. It’s our signature event, and we work hard to bring in the premier poster artists in the busi-ness. If vintage psychedelia is your thing, we’ll have the top dealers of 60s posters on hand as well. There’s nothing else quite like this show, and you don’t want to miss it!
The Hall of Flowers (Old County Fair Building) is just inside Golden Gate Park near the corner of Ninth Ave. and Lincoln. The doors open at 10:00 am and the show runs until 6:00 pm. Our entrance policy is essentially the same as it has been for the last couple of years. Please note the modest price increase, reflecting increases we’ve incurred in our production costs.

Dave Hunter Legacy: Emerging from the Archive
For the first time since Dave’s passing, his personal archive is emerging from storage.
We, Dave’s friends, are meticulously reviewing his collection on behalf of his daughter, aiming to place his art in the hands of the collectors and fans who have cherished and supported him over the years.
All proceeds will directly benefit his daughter.
This weekend at The Rock Poster Society (TRPS) event, we’ll feature a dedicated table showcasing Dave’s work. If a particular piece you’re seeking isn’t available, remember this represents only a fraction of the archive’s contents.
We’ll provide a special link at TRPS for submitting questions, requests, and staying connected as we progressively unveil more from the archive.
