Get @reshare_app • @farfante I’m glad to present this other journey I’ve created for their special tour! @acidmotherstempleofficial are, I believe, on of the most prolific and experimental band in the psychedelic scene, constantly exploring the third dimension.
Today I want to present my illustration of their dimension!
For their three-day “past - present - future”set at @roadburnfest , ii created a limited edition poster, just 100 copies in seven contrasting colors : metallic, matte and gloss, Each copy is unique; the color change constantly, just like the rest of the set they’ll be playing!
This is my idea of “Acid Mother” a beautiful creature waiting to hear what the wind brings her from the three sides of existence.
She listen to the past, sees the present, and savors the future, protected by her mystical and impregnable dream dimension.
I like to think of this when I revisit this drawing ... I’ll soon show you the entire initial process . It’s not digital, but real pencil drawing on real paper!

This one feels a little extra special! I’ve been a fan of Warren Haynes as long as I can remember. Where It All Begins was foundational in my early rock music journey. Soulshine was one of the first songs I learned (and since forgotten) how to play on guitar.

That said, I gotta do my job, so here’s one I did for @darkstarorchestra . It was sold exclusively to VIP ticket holders, and therefore I did not have an artist edition for sale.

With this one I wanted to create a surreal world that paid homage to both bands. With Penelope Road being from Georgia I thought a peach would be a fitting nod to them and would pair well with a warm crescent moon behind paying homage to Winyah’s South Carolina roots.

Also I wanted to include some rocket ships to tip my hat to the recent Artemis II mission.

This one was on a bit of a tight timeline but real happy with how it came out. Also a big shout out to @ericjberger for the opportunity!

Triptychs kinda sometimes feel like a challenge to repeat all the show info three times, but do so in a way that feels like you’re not just reading the same thing three times over… if that makes sense. It was a fun undertaking on this project to see how far I could go with integrating all the text into the scene, and a maximalist bait shop in the bayou was the perfect vessel to hide everything in. I can’t believe I wrote out “St. Augustine” six times throughout this set.

I wanted to give this set of posters the “Florida’s greatest hits” treatment, packing it full of all the iconography that the great (mythically insane) state has to offer. Plastic flaminoges, gators, spanish moss, snakes, manatees, questionable waterways, overpriced gas… the list goes on and on. Really had a lot of fun (damn I had fun???) getting lost in all the tiny world-building details throughout this set—the fireflies are my favorite.
