Richie Goodtimes is fueled by spite and toxic and blind and makes screen printed rock posters way out in the woods of Pennsylvania at MK Ultra Ink. He has created posters for Iron Maiden, The Melvins, High on Fire, OFF!, Venom, Electric Frankenstein, and many others.
He has spent the last quarter of a century mastering the use of black light reactive day-glo inks to assault the audience through color. His goal in the creation of rock posters is to achieve a perfect symbiosis between the artist, the audience, the band, and the event, while simultaneously amusing himself at the expense of other artists, the audience, the band, and the event.
In January of 2023, Richie lost the majority of his sight due to a freak eye infection that left him completely blind in one eye. He was born with a birth defect in his remaining eye and has never been able to see properly out of it. Everything is blurry, a little dark, and completely out of focus. He continues to work through the aid of technology, specifically, a 65 inch television used as his computer monitor where everything is blown up 300% so he can see it.
