Attention poster fans in the Bay Area, Moonalice and UC Santa Cruz will celebrate the public opening of the Grateful Dead Archive on Friday, June 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at McHenry Library (aka Dead Central) If you can’t attend, Moonalice will be streaming this event LIVE for free on Moonalice.com
The celebration will take place on the south lawn of McHenry Library and feature music from Moonalice, a renowned Northern California band known for its extended musical improvisations and strong ties to the Grateful Dead.
Admission is free, light refreshments will be served, and all those who attend will receive a free copy of the masterpiece pictured above by legendary artist David Singer!!! (Hat tip to Alton Kelley)

Parking for the event will be available in both the Performing Arts and Hahn Services lots. Signage at UCSC’s main entrance will guide visitors to these two lots. Temporary parking permits may be purchased for $3 from attendants in the Performing Arts and Hahn Services lots.
