Having worked in the poster art scene for nearly a decade, Michael Murphy has made a name for himself in the world of rock; creating promotional works for a variety of bands and shows, from no-names to big names. His love of the kind of heavy metal and punk rock music that sends Televangelists into a frothing frenzy provides the perfect inspiration for the art that he creates. He has created limited-run, one-of-a-kind works for Kyuss, the Forgotten, 22 Jacks, High on Fire, Swingin’ Utters, Youth Brigade, Nashville Pussy, the Golden Gods and Halford to name but a few. Besides working for individual bands, Michael has also built a strong clientele with a number of clubs and record labels, including Goldenvoice, Straight Up Productions, and SideOne Dummy! and BYO Records.
