Before John Mavroudis became internationally known for a pair of hand-lettered TIME magazine covers—one depicting Christine Blasey Ford, another listing the locations of 253 mass shootings in the United States as of August 8, 2019—he was familiar to many of us for his Fillmore and Moonalice posters. But before any of that, Mavroudis was, and still is, a passionate baseball fan.
Now the artist’s award-winning aesthetic and lifelong passion have come together in a T-shirt honoring beloved San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey.
