Youth Poster Contest

In 2019, the Youth Poster Contest, co-sponsored by TRPS, attracted 235 incredible posters from 11 high schools and 17 middle schools, both public and private, throughout Marin.

All Marin middle and high school students are invited to design a poster that communicates their hopes and concerns about social justice, climate change, women’s rights, firearms regulation, immigration, gender and sexual equality, or other issues important to youth.

Important to note is this an art contest, but also a messaging contest. Posters are judged on the impact of the student’s message, and how they utilize creativity, expressive language, and original art to communicate their message.

There are two age groups in the contest, 12-14 years old, and 15-18 years old. See them all the winners and finalists now until the end of the year at Haight Street Art Center in San Francisco.
