Ronnie Schneider was the Rolling Stones’ 1969 US concert tour manager and is our tour guide for the Stones’ rockumentary “Gimme Shelter.” The movie features their cross-country tour from Madison Square Garden to their free concert just up the highway at Altamont Raceway. It brings us the controlled chaos behind the scenes, along with Stones’ rocking performances. Schneider was there, he’s in the frame, and will talk about his experience with the band, the tour and some of the other names we love from Rock and Roll.
