Drawn in Stereo by Michael Gillette

On January 19, 2016, in News, by Ben Marks

I’m pretty late to Michael Gillette’s work, but recently a friend of my son’s gave me a copy of his latest book, Drawn in Stereo, so that oversight on my part has now been corrected. You will find a few rock posters in the 192-page hardback, but I really enjoyed Gillette’s rock-related illustrations, sketches, and paintings, such as this 2015 portrait of David Bowie, one of two “Glam Songbirds” in the book (the other is Brian Eno).
