Thanks to Everyone for a Great Festival of Rock Posters, 2019

October 21, 2019 By Ben Marks 2 Comments

Left to right: Ava, Gale, and Bridget at the TRPS table, Hall of Flowers, 2019.

Just a note to thank all the artists, vendors, and volunteers who made the 2019 Festival of Rock Posters one of the best yet! We were especially happy to have our friends from Expresso Beans on hand (for a terrific portfolio of images from the show, click here), and major thanks to A.J. Masthay for supplying us with a killer show poster, the proceeds of which will benefit our Artist Relief Trust.

We hope to see you again this summer for Rock Art By the Bay, which for the past two years has been held at Faction Brewing in Alameda. And, of course, we’ll be back in Golden Gate Park in October of 2020. See you then!

Hi, I attended last years poster show in Golden Gate Park, thought i had a bunch of business cards from the vendors, but can’t seem to find them, any chance you have a list of the presenters, and their email info. I’m mostly interested in 60/s/70’s Rcok Posters. In particular their was a guy, I think he was from Ohio, he had a table i think just to the right of the enterance, (if you our looking back out into the park) If you have his web site address that woulds be great. Thanks.

I met him through some stage labor gig, he was dressed as I'd come to see him for years to come, in a button down shirt and khakis. Good guy. Last time I saw him was at the North Regional Library in Raleigh. I was there looking for graphic novels. Cy was there reading the paper. He stopped me and we talked for a few minutes about music. For the life of me, I can't recall exactly what in regards to music, but it was almost certainly about local music. Just a good guy. And I wish that I had known him better.

If you're interested in having one of these, for free, I've got some available. Message or email. Thanks.
