Carolyn Ferris

Carolyn Ferris currently works with ink on paper creating art for logos, cd covers, tour posters, package design projects. Working with offset or silkscreen, she has created well over a hundred rock posters. After a few years away in southwest Missouri as Wes Wilson’s art partner, she’s returned to Fairfax in September 2018, where she has spent most of her adult life and opened Carolyn Ferris Art Studio in downtown Fairfax, her design/gallery studio by day and art classes at night and weekends.

The design studio/gallery is opened by appointment. Carolyn is an internationally published artist, she began her poster career creating for The Fillmore, Warfield, and Maritime Hall. She’s made paintings with Timothy Leary and made many illustrations for his published pieces. For years, she has been a board member and newsletter editor/designer with The Rock Poster Society.
